“I specialize in supporting children, teens, and young adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, mood disorders, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. I also have a special focus on women’s issues, including self-esteem, relationships, identity, stress, burnout, motherhood, and navigating life changes.

I understand that every person’s experiences and needs are different, so I approach counseling with flexibility, compassion, and curiosity. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop coping skills, increase self-awareness, and navigate challenges in ways that feel meaningful and manageable.

My interest in mental health grew from personal experiences that shaped my desire to help others feel less alone in what they are going through.

My goal is to provide a calm, welcoming, and respectful space where you can feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I strive to build genuine connections with you while offering encouragement, understanding, and support throughout the healing process.”

Availability:

I am available for in-person and Telehealth sessions Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with evening appointments available upon request.

Michael Moore, MA., LPC

“With over ten years of experience in the mental health field, I provide a compassionate, structured, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences and work toward meaningful change. As a DBT-certified therapist, I specialize in helping individuals develop practical skills to manage intense emotions, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

I work with clients facing a variety of concerns, including substance use, domestic violence, anger management, mood disorders, anxiety and panic disorders, LGBTQ+ concerns, complex trauma, and personality disorders. I believe that every person’s thoughts and emotions are valid, while also recognizing that growth often comes through identifying and changing behaviors that no longer serve them.

My approach is supportive, collaborative, and goal-oriented. Using evidence-based practices, particularly Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I help clients build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, struggling in relationships, or processing difficult past experiences, we will work together to create tools that support long-term healing and personal growth.

My goal is to help clients reconnect with their authentic selves while building healthier relationships with both themselves and others. Meaningful change is possible, and you do not have to navigate the process alone.
